New Samyang AF 35mm f/2.8 FE Lens and USB Docking Station Coming Soon

The first images of the upcoming Samyang AF 35mm f/2.8 FE lens already leaked online. This will be the third auotofocus full frame E mount lens from Samyang, just after AF 50mm f/1.4 FE and AF 14mm f/2.8 FE. Samyang already displayed this AF 35mm f/2.8 FE lens on Sony a7RII at the P&I 2017 show (Seoul International Photo & Imaging Show).

According to the leaked images, the Samyang AF 35mm f/2.8 FE lens looks very similar to the current Sony Zeiss FE 35mm f/2.8 ($798), but the price is expected to be much cheaper (unknown yet). The autofocus performance of this lens will be similar to Samyang AF 50mm f/1.4 FE lens.

In addition, PhotoRumors reported that Samyang will also announce a new USB docking station for firmware updates and customization called “Lens Station” – similar to the Sigma USB Dock and Tamron TAP-In Console. Very inetresting!
