New Nikon Product Announcement Coming around June 2
It is now confirmed that Nikon will have a new product announcement next week, probably on June 2-3, 2021.
According to the previous report, Nikon is planning to announce an entry-level Nikon Z30 APS-C format mirrorless camera positioned below Nikon Z50 in the first half of 2021. This Nikon Z30 camera will most likely NOT have an electronic viewfinder. If the APS-C mirrorless camera becomes a reality, we should also see some new DX mirrorless lenses. According to the latest Nikon Z-mount lens roadmap, Nikon is fully committed to the future of the z system with a total of 27 amazing lenses and 2 teleconverters that will be available by the end of 2022. So, we expect Nikon to release at least one mirrorless camera and four Z-mount mirrorless lenses this time.
The upcoming 11 Nikon Z-mount lenses:
- Nikon NIKKOR Z 28mm Prime Lens
- Nikon NIKKOR Z 40mm Prime Lens
- Nikon NIKKOR Z 50mm Micro Prime Lens
