New Canon Camera “DS126843” Registered, EOS M50 Mark II Coming?

A new Canon camera with the code name “DS126843” has been registered with Taiwan NCC. Here is what we know so far:

• Wi-Fi (802.11b/g/n)
• Bluetooth 4.2
• EF-M mount
• Battery is LP-E12
• Micro USB port
• HDMI (type D)
• Compatible with Speedlight 600EX-RT and stereo microphone DM-E1

We have already reported that Canon is planning to announce two new Canon EOS M mirrorless camera bodies in Q4 of 2020: one is the flagship “Canon EOS M7“, and the other is the Canon EOS M50 Mark II (Canon EOS M50 replacement). This new Canon “DS126843” camera uses the same LP-E12 battery as the Canon EOS M50, so it is highly likely that it will be the Canon EOS M50 Mark II.
