New Canon Announcement on May 11th

Exciting news for all the vloggers out there, as Canon has announced that they will be releasing new products related to vlogging on May 11, 2023. The company has released a teaser image on their official website, which is creating a buzz among the photography enthusiasts.

Although the details about the product are still unknown, it seems to be a small and lightweight camera specifically designed for vlogging. The teaser image contains the message “New Possibilities of Vlog“, which has left everyone curious about what new features this product might have.

Based on the teaser image, it appears that the camera will be quite compact, making it an ideal choice for those who prefer to travel light. However, the body of the camera is vertically long, which distinguishes it from a conventional general compact digital camera like the Sony VLOGCAM ZV-1. The shape of the camera part reminds us of GoPro, which indicates that the new camera might have a grip type design suitable for taking selfies.

What’s interesting about this announcement is the different approach that Canon has taken this time. The announcement has been made through a mail magazine that belongs to Camera Marketing Section 2, which seems to be different from the department handling other Canon products like PowerShot Pick and PowerShot Zoom. It will be exciting to see what kind of concept and positioning this new product will have.
