Fujifilm X-T2 Announced, Price $1,599, Available for Pre-order
Today Fujifilm officially announced the new Fujifilm X-T2 mirrorless camera and several new accessories. The US price of Fujifilm X-T2 camera body is $1,599, with 18-55mm lens for $1,899. Now it is available for pre-order at most US stores. Shipping is scheduled to start in September.
Equipped with a 24.3MP APS-C X-Trans CMOS III image sensor and the X-Processor Pro Engine, users will be able to capture finely detailed imagery quickly and with low noise at sensitivities up to ISO 51200. For the first time in X Series history, the X-T2 supports 4K video. Film Simulation modes, used for still images, can be easily applied to X-T2’s 4K video to produce premium-quality footage.
The X-T2 is X Series’ newest flagship model alongside the FUJIFILM X-Pro2. These two models deliver unparalleled performance in their distinctive fields, with the X-T2 excelling in portraiture, nature and sports photography, and the X-Pro2 ideal for snapshots and discreet documentary photography.
