Fujifilm X-H2 Will Feature New 26 Megapixel Sensor

According to the latest rumors from Fujirumors, the new Fujifilm X-H2 camera will have a new 26-megapixel sensor instead of the existing 26-megapixel X-Trans CMOS 4 sensor. He is 100% confident.

The previous report said the new Fujifilm X-H2 camera will feature a new 26MP sensor. many said, “The current 26-megapixel X-Trans IV sensor will be used, but with higher performance in combination with a new image processing engine. I also thought this could be an option, as there is precedent for the GFX50S II to use older sensors while improving performance with newer processors.

According to the rumors, there is also a 40-megapixel Fujifilm X-H2, and it is also a new sensor. So, the new Fujifilm X-H2 will have two models with different pixel counts.

However, it is currently unknown which camera will be the stacked CMOS sensor. Considering the future, it may be a plan to specialize the model equipped with a 40-megapixel stacked CMOS sensor and introduce a new 26-megapixel sensor as X-Trans CMOS 5 in each series of cameras.
