First Leica SL (Typ 601) Sample Image?

Leica chief Andreas H Kaufmann posted an image that was highly likely taken with the upcoming full frame mirrorless camera Leica SL Typ 601. He writes on Facebook:

Salzburg, Getreidegasse, yesterday, shot with….? Who knows?

All EXIF data have been carefully removed by Andreas.

The new Leica SL (Typ 601) Full Frame mirrorless camera will be announced on October 20, and here are the leaked specs:

  • 24MP CMOS sensor
  • Mirrorless
  • AF
  • 4K video
  • Some genuine mount adapter is provided

And here are some new Leica lenses to be announced along with Leica SL Typ 601:

  • Leica Vario-ELMARIT-SL 1:. 2.8-4 / 24-90 mm ??ASPH
  • Leica Apo-Vario-ELMARIT-SL 1: 2.8-4 / 90-280 mm
  • Leica Summilux-SL 1: 1.4 / 50 mm ASPH.
  • Summilux-TL 35 mm ASPH.
  • Macro-ELMARIT-TL 60 mm ASPH.
