Confirmed: Nikon Z9, Z9 FTZ II Kit, FTZ II Adapter, 100-400mm & Standard f/4 Zoom Lens Coming Soon

It is now confirmed by Nokishita that the Nikon Z9 body, Nikon Z9 FTZ II Kit, Nikon FTZ II Mount adapter and two lenses (100-400mm & Standard f/4 Zoom Lens) will be announced soon, probably on October 28, 2021.

In addition to the Z9 and NIKKOR Z 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6 VR S, it seems that a new model of the previously rumored mount adapter will also appear. It is not clear what kind of lens the “F4 standard zoom” will be, but considering the lens roadmap, will it be the “Z 24-105mm f/4 S”? It is currently unknown whether this will be equipped with image stabilization.

According to the latest Nikon Z-mount lens roadmap, Nikon is fully committed to the future of the z system with a total of 27 amazing lenses and 2 teleconverters that will be available by the end of 2022.

The Nikon Z9 is already listed at B&H and Adorama.
