Canon XF505 to be Announced for NAB 2021

In addition to the upcoming Canon EOS R5C cinema camera, Canon is also planning to announce the new Canon XF505 camcorder and a bunch of new CINE lenses in the second half of 2021, probably for NAB Show 2021, which will start from October 9-13, 2021.

This Canon XF505 camcorder will sit between the XF405 and XF705 in the lineup, and here are the rumored specifications of the Canon XF505.

Canon XF505 Specifications:

  • Same 1″ sensor as the XF705
  • 12G-SDI output and SD cards
  • An integrated zoom lens with 15x zoom
  • BP-A batteries
