Canon Rumored to Pull Out of Photokina 2018

According to the report from DIYPhotography, several brands including Canon, Elinchrom and Profoto, may be pulling out of Photokina 2018 in September.

Elinchrom has issued a statement to confirm that they are pulling out of Photokina 2018, but there is no official word yet from Canon or Profoto.

The Photokina show will take place annually from 2018 and there will be another Photokina in May 2019, so the Photokina 2018 will be the last September show. If Canon doesn’t join this Photokina 2018 in September, I believe they will be a big member at Photokina 2019 in May.

This is just a rumor, Canon hasn’t confirmed or denied anything so far, so just take it with a grain of salt.
