Several months ago Canon filed a patent for the Canon RF 14-21mm f/1.4L USM super wide angle RF mount zoom lens. The latest rumor claims that this Canon RF 14-21mm f/1.4L USM lens is currently being tested by select photographers. The official announcement date and shipping date are still unknown at the time of writing.

This Canon RF 14-21mm f/1.4L lens will be another “world first” type of lenses from Canon just like the amazing RF 28-70mm f/2 L USM.

In addition, Canon is working on a “crazy” prime RF-mount lens, which is expected to come next year, but currently the focal length and aperture are still unknown.

Anyway, the Canon EOS R5 and Canon EOS R6 are now selling like hot cakes, order now if you are interested.
