Canon EOS R6 Mark II Rumored Specifications

In addition to the upcoming Canon EOS R8 (EOS R Mark II) and Canon EOS R100, Canon is also working on the Canon EOS R6 Mark II to replace the current hot selling Canon EOS R6 mirrorless camera.

Here are the first rumored specifications of the upcoming Canon EOS R6 Mark II full frame mirrorless camera:

  • 24mp Full-frame CMOS Sensor
  • In-body stabilization
  • 12fps Mechanical
  • 4K 30p (No Crop)
  • 4K 60p (Cropped. The EOS R6 is a 1.1x crop)
  • Canon Log 3/HDR PQ
  • Dual Pixel CMOS AF
  • SD/SDHC dual card slot
  • Not much change in the form factor over the original EOS R6

It is very likely that the 24MP sensor will be the same image sensor version from the “EOS R3“.

The other day, we shared some information about the Canon EOS R8. Currently, it is not known how similar the specifications are, or whether the announcement of these two cameras is close at this time.

Camera makers will announce their financial results from late October , and Canon will announce its financial results on October 26th. If Canon is planning to announce a new product in early fall, I have a feeling that it will be announced in late October. Recently, even before the rumors of the “EOS R6 Mark II” and “EOS R8″, there are rumors that another ” EOS R APS-C camera ” will be released, so I’m wondering which camera will be next.

The CP+ 2023 will be held from February 23rd to 26th 2023, and considering the recent corona situation, it is highly likely that it will be held locally, making it the perfect event to unveil the EOS R6 Mark II.
