Canon EOS R5S Rumored to Have 80MP Sensor, Announcement in 2021

The new 45MP Canon EOS R5 is a mirrorless 5D with its 8K30p Raw and 4K120p video capability, but when will there be a mirrorless replacement of the Canon EOS 5DS/5DS R.

Today according to the report from Canon Camera Rumors, Canon is planning to announce the development of high megapixel Canon EOS R5S mirrorless camera before the end of 2020. If it turns out to be true, this high megapixel Canon EOS R5S will be finally officially announced in February or March 2021. In addition, the source claims that the Canon EOS R5S will have an 80MP full-frame CMOS image sensor, 5-Axis in-body Image Stabilization, dual card slots, but NO 8K video capability.
