Canon EOS R5 to Have Dual Memory Card Slots: One CFExpress and One UHS-II SD

The Canon EOS R5 Pro full frame mirrorless camera will have dual memory card slots: the card slot 1 supports ultra-fast CFExpress memory cards while the card slot 2 is compatible with UHS-II SD cards. This will make lots of people happly, and for me. I really appreciate the UHS-II SD slot.

Here is what we know so far about the Canon EOS R5:

  • Newly designed CMOS sensor (we’re guessing ~40MP)
  • 8K Video Capture
  • 20 fps high-speed continuous shooting (Electric Shutter)
  • 12 fps high-speed continuous shooting (Mechanical Shutter)
  • High-performance coordinated image stabilization (IS)
  • Dual media card slots
  • RF-Mount

The Canon EOS R5 professional full-frame mirrorless camera will be officially announced before the 2020 Summer Olympics that will start on July 24, 2020. This new Canon EOS R5 mirrorless camera is now listed at B&H and Adorama.
