Canon released the new firmware updates version 1.7.0 for Canon EOS R5 and EOS R6 mirrorless cameras.

This firmware includes the following fixes.

  1. Corrected the phenomenon that, on rare occasions, the camera would not operate normally while shooting a small subject.
  2. Fixed minor bugs.
