Canon EOS R5 Mark II to be Announced Before the EOS R1

The latest rumor suggests that Canon will announce the new Canon EOS R5 Mark II camera before the EOS R1.

While the EOS R6 received an update to the Mark II model, the EOS R5, which debuted at the same time, is yet to undergo a similar renewal. As a result, it is highly anticipated that the EOS R5 Mark II will be launched soon. According to to the latest rumors, the new model is expected to be released before the high-end “EOS R1” model, although specific details are currently unknown.

If the rumored specifications are accurate, the EOS R5 Mark II is likely to be a high-resolution model that can compete with the Sony a7R V. Although an exact release date has not been confirmed, according to the previous report said that it could appear in the second quarter of 2023.
