Canon EOS R5, EOS R6, 6 New RF Lenses and 2 Teleconverters Coming on July 9, 2020

It is now confirmed that Canon will have a big product announcement on July 9, 2020. And Canon will announce the Canon EOS R5, Canon EOS R6, 6 New RF Lenses and 2 Teleconverters on July 9, 2020.

New Canon products that will be officially announced on July 9, 2020:

• Canon EOS R5
• Canon EOS R6
• Canon RF 50mm f/1.8 STM Lens
• Canon RF 85mm f/2 Macro IS STM Lens
• Canon RF 70-200mm f/4L IS USM Lens
• Canon RF 100-500mm f/4.5-7.1L IS USM Lens
• Canon RF 600mm f/11 IS STM Lens
• Canon RF 800mm f/11 IS STM Lens
• Canon Extender RF 1.4x
• Canon Extender RF 2x

All these new lenses are for the RF mount – Great news for all Canon EOS R and EOS RP users. And, as you can see, two super telephoto prime model with f/11 aperture are coming: 600mm DO and 800mm DO.

In addition, the Canon EOS R6 body is scheduled to start shipping in August while the Canon EOS R5 won’t begin shipping until September 2020.
