Canon EOS M5 Mark II and EOS M6 Mark II Coming in Early 2019

Canon already announced the new Canon EOS R full frame mirrorless camera and four RF-mount lenses. And then there is serious question for Canon: What is Canon planning to do about the current EOS M line of cameras and lenses? I believe Canon will continue to produce the EOS M line cameras in the near future because of the strong sales of EOS M5, EOS M6 and EOS M50. But in the long run, maybe Canon will discontinue the EOS M line cameras…

The larest rumors around the web suggest Canon will announce at least two new EOS M mirrorless cameras in the first half of 2019, probably Canon EOS M5 Mark II and Canon EOS M6 Mark II. The Canon EOS M5 Mark II is expected to feature 4K video with DPAF and several excellent improvement.

In addition, Canon recently announced the EF-M 32mm f/1.4 STM lens, and we haven’t heard anything new EF-M lenses coming in the near future.
