Canon EOS C400 Cinema Camera is Coming?

It seems Canon will add a new “Cinema EOS C400” to the current cinema camera lineup in the near future. The latest rumors suggest the next cinema camera from Canon will be the “Cinema EOS C400” and this Canon EOS C400 will NOT replace the current EOS C300 Mark II or EOS C500 – a completely new additional camera to the lineup.

The detailed specifications (6K or 8K) and announcement date are still unknown at the time of writing.

In September 2015 Canon announced that they are developing a 120MP DSLR Camera, a Cinema EOS System 8K camera and professional-use 8K reference display. So, as a video enthusiast, what do you expect from the Canon EOS C400 Cinema Camera?
