Canon EOS 7D Mark II Camera Body now Listed as Discontinued at B&H

The Canon EOS 7D Mark II DSLR camera body is now listed as discontinued at B&H – it is still available at Amazon and Adorama. Does this mean the Canon EOS 7D Mark III will come soon?

The previous rumor suggests the upcoming Canon EOS 7D Mark III will be announced sometime between Photokina 2018 (September 2018) and Photokina 2019 (May 2019) – in Q4 of 2018 at the earliest.

Here is what we know so far about the Canon EOS 7D Mark III:

  • 28MP sensor
  • 4K video
  • More video oriented features
  • Tiltable touchscreen
  • More upscale than the Canon EOS 7D Mark II
  • A higher end feature set when compared to other APS-C DSLRs from Canon
  • A “new generation” of Canon APS-C sensors
  • The same introductory price as the EOS 7D Mark II
