Canon EOS 5D Mark IV Rumored to Have the “Best” Video Features

The previous rumors said Canon will announce the Canon EOS 5D Mark IV DSLR camera this weekend before the Photography Show 2016, and as you can see, that has not happened. And the source said the Canon EOS 5D Mark IV is still slated for a late April announcement (at the earliest) after the EOS-1D X Mark II begins shipping in large quantities.

Several improvements will be made to the 5D Mark IV when it comes to its specifications. The Canon EOS 5D Mark IV will have a new sensor, more megapixels, increased dynamic range and a higher maximum ISO sensitivity.

What is new information, is that this new 5D Mark IV is designed for videographers and filmmakers and it will have the best video features in the entire Canon lineup (not including the cinema line). For videographers, the Canon EOS 5D Mark IV will offer better video features than the newly-announced 1D X Mark II. And for Canon, video features will become an important part of the development of the camera.

2016 NAB Show event is scheduled to begin on April 16 for press folks, while regular visitors can check out the latest videography products as of April 18. Although the Canon EOS 5D Mark IV will most likely not be unveiled at the event, Canon will reveal some information about the DSLR to some insiders. So, stay tuned for more info.
