Canon EOS-1D X Mark III Rumored to be Announced in Late 2019

Canon is rumored to announce the new EOS-1D X Mark III flagship DSLR camera as early as the 4th quarter of 2019, to replace the current EOS-1D X Mark II model, which is now $500 off at AmazonB&H and Adorama.

Speaking of the specifications, the Canon EOS-1D X Mark III DSLR will have a new version of DPAF and other sensor technology although the detailed specifications is still unknown.

We know Canon is currently working hard on the EOS R full frame mirrorless cameras, but the source claimed that “Full frame mirrorless isn’t yet advanced enough to take over the duties of the EOS-1D line in Canon’s eyes“. And I do agree with that way of thinking.

In addition to the Canon EOS-1D X Mark III, Canon is expected to announce the EOS 5D Mark V DSLR camera in 2020.
