The upcoming Canon EF-S 35mm f/2.8 M IS STM lens will be announced on April 5 in North America. And this Canon EF-S 35mm f/2.8 M IS STM lens will feature macro illumination, just like the Canon EF-M 28mm f/3.5 Macro IS STM, which is further distinguished by its integrated Macro Lite LED to provide additional illumination to close-up subjects. So we can assume the “M” in the lens description means “macro”. Great feature!

The pricing info and release date of this lens are NOT known yet, but we don’t have to wait for a long time.
