Canon EF 50mm f/1.4L IS USM Lens Delayed to Late 2018

It seems that we will NOT see the new Canon EF 50mm f/1.4L IS USM lens in the first half of 2018 (CES 2018 or CP+ 2018). The latest rumors suggest that the upcoming Canon EF 50mm f/1.4L IS USM is delayed to late 2018, so we have to wait a little longer and give Canon more time to test the prototypes.

2018 is expected to be a busy year for Canon. We expected to see the Canon EOS 7D Mark III, Canon EOS 90D, Canon full frame mirrorless camera and several Canon Lenses listed below in 2018:

• Canon EF 200-600mm f/4.5-5.6 IS USM Lens
• Canon EF 50mm f/1.4L IS USM Lens
• Canon EF 135mm f/2L IS USM Lens
• Canon EF 24-70mm f/2.8L IS USM Lens
