Canon EF 16-35mm f/2.8L III Lens to be Announced Soon

The next L lens from Canon will be a fast zoom (f/2.8), and it should be Canon EF 16-35mm f/2.8L III lens, the replacement of current Canon EF 16-35mm f/2.8L II lens. And we already reported that the Canon EF 16-35mm f/2.8L III lens is already in testing by select photographers and it will be announced some time in 2016.

According to a report coming out of Canon Rumors, the Canon EF 16-35mm f/2.8L III lens is already “done” and will be announced at any time. We still don’t know the specific announcement date. Canon announced the new EOS-1D X Mark II, so we believe this new “L” lens will come soon.
