Canon EF 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6L IS II USM Lens Gets Gold Award from DPReview

DPReview published their Canon EF 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6L IS II USM lens review and this great lens gets 90% overall score and gold award from the experts at DPReview.

The Canon 100-400mm F4.5-5.6 IS USM Mark II has been worth waiting for, now with unrivalled all-round telezoom versatility. It rates best in class for sharpness, AF performance, image stabilization, close focusing and build quality. Canon has done a very thorough job and it’s still good value, too.

Good for: Sports, wildlife and nature. Candids, and studio portraiture too at shorter focal lengths.

Not so good for: Situations when only f/2.8 will do, or being discreet.

The Canon EF 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6L IS II USM Lens is now on sale ($100 off) at Amazon, B&H, Adorama for $2,099. So, if you are interested, order immediately so as to obtain this great lens as soon as possible.
