Adobe Lightroom CC and Lightroom 6 Announced, Get it Now!

Adobe has officially announced Lightroom CC and Lightroom 6 for professional photographers using Windows and Mac OS X 64-bit operating systems.

Adobe’s new image-processing software is being split into two versions: Lightroom CC and Lightroom 6. So what is the difference between Lightroom CC and Lightroom 6?

The new Adobe Lightroom CC and Lightroom 6 are identical when it comes to their features with one exception: mobile integration. The Lightroom CC comes with mobile integration thanks to cloud computing, while the Lightroom 6 does not. The Adobe Lightroom CC allows users to take control of their catalog from iOS or Android smartphones or tablets. And Adobe has added improved social sharing features into the latest version of Lightroom, so the users can easily share their photos as well as slideshows on Facebook, Instagram, and Flickr. In addition, users can process their shots on mobile devices powered by Android since Android 5.0 Lollipop devices support DNG RAW files.

Lightroom CC is now available as part of an Adobe Creative Cloud Photography subscription ($9.99 per month) or as the equivalent standalone $149 perpetual-license Lightroom 6 application. But the single purchase option won’t include syncing photos to Adobe’s mobile apps, such as Lightroom Mobile, Slate, and Voice.
