Sony FE 70-200mm f/2.8 GM OSS Lens Shipment Delayed to September, 2016

The new Sony FE 70-200mm f/2.8 GM OSS Lens was announced along with 85mm f/1.4 GM and 24-70mm f/2.8 GM lenses in February, 2016 and it was orginally scheduled to go on sale this month (in June). Now here is a nad news for you: Sony decided to postpone the sale until September, 2016.

Sony Japan issued an official statement saying that the new FE 70-200mm f/2.8 GM OSS lens and two“SEL14TC” and “SEL20TC” teleconverters were all delayed and all of them will ship in September, 2016. No official reason was given for the delay, maybe because of Kumamoto earthquake effect.
