Sony FE 16-35mm f/2.8 GM Lens Rumored to be Priced at $2,198

The next Sony GM zoom lens will be FE 16-35mm f/2.8 GM lens and a new source told us that the Sony FE 16-35mm f/2.8 GM lens will be priced at $2,198, the same price as FE 24-70mm f/2.8 GM lens.

Currently, the detailed specs and announcement date of this new FE 16-35mm f/2.8 GM lens are still unknown. I am not sure if this is correct or not – This is from a new source, none is confirmed anyway so it’s best to take this report with a pinch of salt.

Sony already announced three flagship “G master”lenses and the only “confirmed” thing is: the big three FE GM zoom lenses will be FE 24-70mm f/2.8 GM, FE 85mm f/1.4 GM and FE 16-35mm f/2.8 GM. And it is highly likely that this FE 16-35mm f/2.8 GM lens will be announced in 2017.
