Sigma CEO Kazuto Yamaki Confirms They Will Make FE Lenses

At Photokina 2016 Lensvid had the chance to interview Sigma’s CEO Mr. Kazuto Yamaki. In this interview they talked about Sigma’s FE lens plan for mirrorless cameras and Mr. Kazuto Yamaki confirmed that Sigma has the plan to make FE lenses for Sony full frame E-mount mirrorless cameras, but he can’t leak the details of the plan. That’s really a great news!

They also talked about AF in Sigma lenses (specifically about the new 50-100mm f/1.8 lens)…Mr. Kazuto Yamaki is very honest and lots of people love his style, me too! Highest respect for Mr. Kazuto Yamaki!

Sigma recently announced 8 High Speed Cinema Lenses, including 3 zoom lenses and 5 prime lenses. And the upcoming Sigma FE lenses are expected to be the general photography lenses. So, what do you expect from Sigma?

Thanks SonyAlphaRumors for spotting this!
