Sigma 85mm f/1.4 Art Lens to be Announced in September?

2016 will be a busy year for Sigma, and I believe Sigma will announce several new lenses in 2016. According to the report from PhotoRumors, Sigma will soon announce a new 85mm f/1.4 Art lens to replace the current 85mm f/1.4 EX DG HSM lens, probably at Photokina 2016 in September. And this new Sigma 85mm f/1.4 Art lens is being tested by selected photographers.

And, besides the newly released Sigma 20mm f/1.4 DG HSM Art, 50-100mm f/1.8 DC HSM Artand 30mm f/1.4 DC DN Contemporary lenses, Sigma filed several new patents in 2016:

• Sigma 70-300mm f/4-5.6 DG OS HSM Lens
• Sigma 200mm f/2L IS USM Lens
• Sigma 24-70mm f/2.8 DG OS HSM Art Lens
• Sigma 70-200mm f/2.8 DG OS HSM Sports Lens
• Sigma 11-22mm f/4.5-5.6 DG HSM FLD Art Lens
• Sigma 120-600mm f/5-6.3 DG OS HSM Sports Lens
• TELE CONVERTER 1.4x
