The new announced Sony 24-70mm f/2.8 ZA SSM II Vario-Sonnar T* Lens and Sony 16-35mm f/2.8 ZA SSM II Vario-Sonnar T* Lens are now available for pre-order online now. The price for Sony 24-70mm f/2.8 II is $2,098 while the Sony 16-35mm f/2.8 II for $2,248.

According to Sony, they feature an improved Zeiss T* coating to further reduce ghosting, 4x faster AF tracking performance and a super sonic wave motor. Both lenses are also dust and moisture resistant, plus Sony says significant improvements have been made in the image quality of both lenses. See the Announcement here.
