Nikon D850 / D900 (Nikon D810 Successor) Rumored Specs

We got an email from anonymous source about Nikon D850 / D900 (name not confirmed yet), the Nikon D810 successor. As you know, the Nikon D810 was announced in June, 2014, so its successor should come in 2016. This is just rumors, so just take this with a grain of salt.

Nikon D850 / D900 Rumored Specs:

  • 54MP Full Frame Sensor
  • Image sensor is custom made Sony sensor
  • 96 Auto Focus Points
  • Low ISO Starts from 32
  • 4K Video Recording
  • To be announced in September, 2015
  • New AF-S 16-35mm f/4 or f/2.8 Lens coming after D850

Below is the original text from the source:

D850/900 – 54mp, 96 auto focus points, 32 base iso, 4k video

Will use a custom made Sony sensor.

Announcement in September. Flurry of new lenses announced just after
this camera announcement.

Possibly a sequel to 16-35 f4 (version 2) or an f2.8).

By the way, newcamera and caemraegg also got the similar rumor on Nikon D850/D900, probably from the same fake source. If you got any rumors about new Nikon D850/D900, you can contact us.

I’m more than interested. If not a D5X, then this. But I do wish they’d save a few dollars and drop that silly, pop-up flash which is virtually useless anyway… and toughen up that body to a more professional build.
