Nikon D400 and D5 Rumored to be Announced Together at CES 2016

We already reported that the Nikon D5, Nikon’s next flagship full frame DSLR camera, will be announced at CES 2016 in early January. And according to the latest rumors from NR, the Nikon D400 DSLR camera will be announced together with the D5 (just like the D3 and D300 back in 2007).

The Nikon D400 will replace the Nikon D300S, and it will be a new flagship DX DSLR camera from Nikon. And the new Nikon D400 will fight against the Canon 7D Mark II. the Specs and price of the Nikon D400 are still unknown.

Nikon D5 Rumored specs:

  • New 20MP FX sensor (Socionext announced MN2WS03101A chip with 4k video capabilities, which will be probably used on Nikon D5)
  • 4k video recording
  • 15 fps
  • Native high ISO of 102,400
  • 173 autofocus points
  • Body design similar to the D4S
  • Announcement expected in late 2015 or in early 2016,previous rumored date is at CES 2016.
