New Nikon Patents: 16-55mm f/3.5-5.6, New 70-300mm f/4.5-5.6 VR

Nikon filed several patents for two new lenses and some other things recently. Below are the new Nikon Patents:

• a new Nikon 16-55mm f/3.5-5.6 VR DX lens that will probably replace the current Nikon 18-55mm model
• a new version of the Nikon 70-300mm f/4.5-5.6 VR lens for the Nikon 1 system
• an interesting way of hiding the built-in flash in a compact camera
• a Lytro-like selective focusing RGB sensor
