How to Light & Photograph a Silhouette Indoors with Sony a7RII

The famous photographer Jason Lanier did a Sony a7RII studio shoot showing you how to light & photograph a silhouette indoors using backlight. Jason had the opportunity to shoot inside of a studio while in Texas for a workshop. He found some room dividers, placed a keg light behind them, lit his model, and then started shooting.

This video shows the front and back views of this shoot, and we hope it helps you to see and figure out just how Jason was able to shoot, light, and create the silhouettes in this video.

There’s also a complete slideshow at the end of the video that shows every single shot taken. All images were edited using Lightroom.
