Fujifilm XF 50mm f/2 R WR Lens and X-A10 Camera Coming Together in November
The rumor mill said Fujifilm will announced the new XF 50mm f/2 R WR lens and X-A10 mirrorless camera in November, 2016.
According to the report from FujiRumors, the upcoming Fujifilm XF 50mm f/2 R WR lens will be officially announced along with the X-A10 mirrorless camera in November, 2016. The Fujifilm X-A10 camera was already registered in Korea and it is highly likely that it will be announced in November. But, according to Fujifilm XF Lens Roadmap, the Fujifilm XF 50mm f/2 R WR lens was initially scheduled to be announced in early 2017, maybe Fuji changed the plan because of the high demand of f2 compact weather resistant lenses. The Fujifilm X-A10 mirrorless camera will be a lower entry-level model than Fujifilm X-A3, and it is expected to be smaller, lighter and cheaper than the X-A3.
Similarly to the new “XF23mmF2 R WR” and existing “XF35mm F2R WR” lenses, this Fujifilm XF 50mm f/2 R WR lens features a compact, lightweight and stylish appearance which creates a new “compact prime trio” range within the complete lineup of interchangeable lenses for “X Series” digital cameras. The XF50mmF2 R WR has a field of view equivalent to 76mm (in the 35mm film format). Its beautiful bokeh and high-speed autofocus are ideally suited for portrait photography.
