Canon to Update EF 16-35mm f/2.8L II Lens in 2016

Here are some more info on Canon Lenses coming in 2016:

First of all, Canon is actively working on a new non-L EF 200-600 f/4.5-5.6 IS super telephoto zoom lens and this new lens will be released some time in 2017, not previous reported in September for Photokina 2016. And this lens will be priced around $1700, a little cheaper than the Sigma 150-600mm f/5-6.3 DG OS HSM Sports Lens.

Second, several Canon lenses will be updated in 2016, including Canon 28mm85mm f1.2L II USM and 70-200mm f2.8 IISee the details here.

Third, it is confirmed that Canon will update the EF 16-35mm f/2.8L II USM lens sometime in 2016, and this new EF 16-35mm f/2.8L II replacement has already been “done”, to be announced in 2016. In addition, Canon will update the EF-S lineup, including the 10-22mm f/3.5-4.5 and 17-55mm f/2.8 and the price will be more affordable.
