Here are the rumored specifications of the upcoming Canon PowerShot G7 X Mark III point-and-shoot camera:

  • 24.1mp 1″ CMOS sensor
  • 10fps
  • DIGIC 8
  • 24-100mm f/1.8-f/2.8 Lens (4.2x Optical Zoom)
  • 3″ Articulating Touchscreen
  • 4K Video at 30fps
  • 1080p Video at 60fps
  • Built in Wi-Fi, NFC & GPS
  • Announcement: 2018
  • No mention about DPAF for 4K video.

This Canon PowerShot G7 X Mark III compact camera is expected to be announced for Photokina 2018, to replace the current PowerShot G7 X Mark II model ($649). And the Canon PowerShot G9 X Mark III will probably come in early 2019 ahead of CP+. Currently, we still have no info about the Canon PowerShot G3 X Mark II and PowerShot G5 X Mark II.
