Canon PowerShot G17 and S120 Successor Coming in October, 2015

We will soon see the Canon PowerShot G16 Successor and PowerShot S120 Successor, which will be announced in October, 2015. The name of the Canon PowerShot G16 Successor should be Canon PowerShot G17, based on trends followed by Canon from past decade.

The detailed of the two successors are still unknown, but the Canon PowerShot G17 will feature an electronic viewfinder. Here are the rumored specs of Canon PowerShot G17:

  • Electronic viewfinder
  • 24-168mm
  • 7x Zoom
  • DIGIC 6+
  • Larger Sensor
  • f/1.2 – f/2.0 Lens
  • All Magnesium Body

The Canon PowerShot G16 camera is currently in stock at Amazon for $399, PowerShot S120 for $349.
