Canon EOS 6D Mark II DSLR Camera Will Be Announced in May/June, 2017

The upcoming Canon EOS 6D Mark II DSLR camera is expected to be announced in May/June, 2017.

The recent rumor said that Canon is ditching the 6D series and Canon will release the new full frame mirrorless camera in 2017 instead of EOS 6D Mark II DSLR camera. Now it seems that this is totally fake. CanonRumors confirmed that the Canon EOS 6D Mark II will be announced around May/June of 2017, and it will be a DSLR camera.

Speaking of the Canon full frame mirrorless camera, there is no solid evidence that Canon will unveil the new FF mirrorless in 2017. And we all know that Canon is behind Sony and Fuji in the mirrorless competition. Canon have to work hard and need more time to announce a mirrorless like Sony a7RII ($3,198).

Currently, the Canon EOS 6D body retails for only $1,499 at Amazon and this is a very good price for a full-frame DSLR with built-in wi-fi and GPS. And the new Canon EOS 5D Mark IV DSLR camera is selling like hot cakes at Amazon.
