Canon EOS 5D Mark IV Price Between $3200-$3500, Ship in Mid September

Canon will announce the EOS 5D Mark IV DSLR camera, EF 24-105mm f/4L IS II USM lens and EF 16-35mm f/2.8L III USM lens on August 25, 2016. And Canon EOS 5D Mark IV camera will come in two lens kits: one with EF 24-70mm f/4L IS and the other with the new EF 24-105mm f/4L IS II lens.

So the next important things are the prices and release dates.

Canon EOS 5D Mark IV

  • Price: According to the report from PhotoRumors, the price of the 5D Mark IV in Europe will be €3,799, the US price will be lower and it is expected to be between $3200-$3500 body only. The previous rumor said the Canon EOS 5D Mark IV camera body will be priced at $3,299, $200 cheaper than Canon EOS 5D Mark III at launch. For reference, the Canon EOS 5D Mark III DSLR camera is currently on sale ($200 off) for $2,599 at Amazon, B&H, Adorama.
  • Release Date: If the report from CanonRumors is correct, the Canon EOS 5D Mark IV DSLR camera will start shipping in mid September.

EF 24-105mm f/4L IS II USM

  • Price: unkonwn yet.
  • Release Date: Mid September. The Canon EF 24-105mm f/4L IS II USM lens will come with EOS 5D Mark IV as a kit lens, so it will ship at the same time as the EOS 5D Mark IV.

EF 16-35mm f/2.8L III USM

  • Price: unkonwn yet.
  • Release Date: Sometime in October, 2016.
