According to the Japanese website Nokishita, Canon is currently testing the following two new lenses:

The official announcement will be in the next several months, probably ahead of Photokina 2018.

The current Canon EF 70-200mm f/4L IS USM lens was released in November 2006, so it is more than 11 years old. And this new Canon EF 70-200mm f/4L IS II USM lens will feature new processes and technologies, which is expected to be the most advanced zoom lens in the Canon lineup.
