Canon EF 200-600 f/4.5-5.6 IS Lens in Testing, Coming in Late 2016

We know that Canon is actively working on a new EF 200-600 f/4.5-5.6 IS super telephoto zoom lens, and the latest rumors said that this Canon EF 200-600 f/4.5-5.6 IS lens is already in testing by selected photographers around the world. And it is highly likely that this new EF 200-600 f/4.5-5.6 IS lens will be announced in late 2016, not previous rumored around Photokina 2016 in September.

This EF 200-600 f/4.5-5.6 IS lens is expected to be a non-L lens and it will have no weather-sealing, but great optics and build quality. The most important: it will be cheaper than the current EF 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6L IS II lens to compete directly with the Tamron and Sigma super telephoto zoom lenses.  The rumored price of this Canon EF 200-600 f/4.5-5.6 IS Lens is around $1,700, a little cheaper than the Sigma 150-600mm f/5-6.3 DG OS HSM Sports Lens.

Stay tuned for more info.
