Canon EF 135mm f/2L IS USM Lens is on the way!
The current Canon EF 135mm f/2L USM Lens is more than 20 years old and it does NOT have an image stabilization system, and Canon is allegedly developing a replacement for the EF 135mm f/2L USM lens, which is expected to have the image stabilization feature.
The previous rumor said Canon will announce the EF 135mm f/2L IS USM lens just after the release of EF 85mm f/1.4L IS lens, which will start shipping on November 16, 2017. So we expect Canon will probably announce the EF 135mm f/2L IS USM lens in 2018, maybe the Canon EF 135mm f/2L IS prototype already exists internally at Canon. Other info are still unknown.
The new Canon EF 85mm f/1.4L IS USM is an excellent lens for portrait photography and it is now available for preorder at Amazon, B&H, Adorama for $1,599.
