Canon CINE-SERVO 50-1000mm T5.0-8.9 Lens Announced, Specs, Price

Canon CINE-SERVO 50-1000mm T5.0-8.9 Lens has been officially announced. Available in both EF-mount and PL-mount variants, the new CINE-SERVO 50-1000mm T5.0-8.9 super zoom lens offers a focal range of 50-1000mm and a built-in 1.5x extender to cinematographers new possibilities for shooting scenes in HD, 2K and 4K on single-sensor cameras.

Canon Cine-Servo 50-1000mm T5.0-8.9 is a new broadcast lens with the world’s longest focal length (75-1500mm with its built-in 1.5x extender) and highest (20x) magnification among Super 35mm zoom lenses. And it is expected to be available in the first quarter of 2015 with a price tag of $78,000 USD.
