Canon 5D Mark IV and 1D X Mark II Rumored to Have New 65 Points AF
According to CR, Canon EOS-1D X replacement will not come in 2014. Both Canon EOS 5D Mark IV and 1D X Mark II are rumored to be announced in the next 12-18 months.
And the rumors said Canon 5D Mark IV and 1D X Mark II will feature the 7D Mark II’s new 65 points AF system.
That means we can see an update in 2015. This is a pretty safe bet.
